•    Introduction to GIS: Basic concepts, applications, and spatial data types
 

•    Installing QGIS and exploring the interface
 

•    Loading and visualizing vector and raster data
 

•    Coordinate Reference Systems (CRS) and projections
 

•    Basic spatial data management: Attribute tables and data joining
 

•    Simple geoprocessing tools: Buffer, clip, and intersect
 

•    Creating maps and layouts in QGIS

Requirements

  • No prior GIS knowledge is required.
  • Participants should be able to operate basic computer functions such as installing software, navigating folders, and opening applications.
  • An interest in maps, geography, or spatial planning will be helpful.
